Following a two-decade career as a family lawyer, Francesca Marcenaro studied jewelry making in Florence and moved to London, where she now lives and works. Committed to experimentation with techniques and materials, she combines a love for the ancient art of Italy with enthusiasm for technology, engineering, and innovation. Glass granulation, a method inspired by the ancient techniques of granulation and enameling, is her signature: the glass granules give a distinctive soft sparkle to the surface of her pieces, which take inspiration from fairy tales and nature.
