Join us for Art Alive, a drop-in gallery visit and art-making experience for all ages. On Saturday, September 4, chocolate artist Paul Joachim will be on the floor of the installationThe Fisher Dollhouse: A Venetian Palazzo in Miniaturefor a chocolate-making demonstration and hands-on activity inspired by the Fisher Dollhouse architecture and mini furniture. Participants will learn how to make silicone molds of their own design, cast edible works, and create a shiny, flawless finish when tempering chocolate at home. Joachim will also facilitate a conversation on cacao and discuss the origins of chocolate.
Art Alive is free with Museum admission. Discussions and activities are ongoing, so visitors can join at any time between 12 and 2 pm and stay as long as they like. The program is offered in accordance with the museum's safe social-distancing practices.
