Performance | Dance Under the Influence

Jack Ferver Night Light Bright Light, 2015

MAD’s signature dance series, Dance Under the Influence, returns this fall with guest curator Jack Ferver at the helm.  Enfant Terrible of the NYC dance world, Ferver pauses in his practice as choreographer and performer to gather a selection of some of the most enthralling dance found today.  Mixing traditional with cutting edge, rigorous with playful, and the familiar with the unexpected, Ferver’s line up reconsiders dance through the lens of this singular artist.  Hosting post-show dialogues on opening nights with the choreographers and performers, Ferver further opens up a world of dance under his influence.
