Mette Laier is an award winning Danish handmade jewelry designer rooted in the simple, with no fuss, Danish jewelry tradition.
Her jewelry is inspired by our surroundings and experiences. She works with different themes, objects and materials, and with a fine sense of humor to transform the existing into aesthetic and wearable jewelry.
Laier studied jewelry design in Denmark, and has been working as a Danish Jewelry designer since 2000, receiving several awards and participating in both Danish and international jewelry exhibitions. She has a workshop in Copenhagen, and teaches jewelry making and design.
