Mexican designers Eduardo Herrera Harfuch and Cristina Romo create handmade products using traditional techniques passed down through generations. One item can take up to two weeks and eight people to make. Herrera, who studied architecture, makes jewelry and furniture, while Romo, a metalsmith raised in a family of designers, creates utilitarian objects. Inspired primarily by nature, they work mainly with metals such as silver, copper, tumbaga, and gold, to produce pieces that bridge the worlds of art and practical construction.
