Osvaldo Escanés is an architect and designer born in Argentina and established in Madrid. Self-taught, he seeks to translate the character and movement of nature into jewelry. His work derives from the exploration of traditional techniques and new materials, resulting in organic forms that recall plants or marine animals. His goal is to build with his hands objects that contain his feelings and sensations, to transfer them to other people. The origin of his collection shown at LOOT was a collaboration with Lalabeyou gallery for Joya Barcelona, created using biodegradable thermoplastic polymers combined with silver and precious stones.
