Klára Šípková
Klára Šípková (Czech Republic) approaches adornment as a form of personal expression rather than mere decoration. She views jewelry as an object with its own narrative, one that communicates identity, emotion, and an individual’s perspective on the world.
Šípková began creating jewelry in 2009, launching her first collection at UMPRUM in Prague in the K.O.V. studio under the guidance of Eva Eisler. Since then, she has continuously challenged conventional definitions of jewelry through the use of unconventional materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and Barrisol, combined with traditional goldsmithing techniques. Her work is minimalist in form yet rich in detail, emphasizing craftsmanship, material honesty, and conceptual clarity. Inspired by structure, technology, and everyday life, each piece originates from a personal idea and is made to establish a meaningful connection with its wearer.
Šípková works from her showroom and studio in central Prague, where she presents limited collections and creates custom pieces, including engagement and wedding rings.
