Karin Worden lives and works immersed in the natural beauty of Laguna Beach, California. She is inspired by a sense of spirit in nature—the gesture of a branch, the lilt of a flower, a shout of color from a berry hidden behind layers of leaves. Worden was born in Boston, and the clean lines and rich textures found in historic cities are also central to her aesthetic. She channels her inspirations through the ancient art of goldsmithing and uses hand fabrication to create contemporary botanical art jewelry that is at once organic and graphic, textural and tight.
