Elizabeth Jane Campbell
Elizabeth Jane Campbell (Scotland) is a jeweler specializing in enamel. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2013 and, during her studies, spent a semester at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in Canada, where she began to focus on enameling. Following graduation, she was appointed Artist in Residence at the Glasgow School of Art before establishing her studio in Edinburgh.
Her recent work explores the relationship between color and shape, drawing on color theory, visual literacy, and the emotional resonance of hue. Using vitreous enamel paired with oxidized silver settings, she carefully controls surface finish—gloss or matte—to heighten tonal depth and chromatic vibrancy.
Campbell’s work is held in private collections internationally and in major public collections in the United Kingdom, including the National Museum of Scotland and the Goldsmiths’ Company Permanent Collection. She has received numerous accolades for her enameling, notably four Silver Awards from the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Awards.
