Glass in Flux: Abigail Reynolds

Mon, Mar 29 / 12–1 pm ET

On the occasion of the Glass, Meet the Future Film Festival, please join artist Abigail Reynolds and collections curator Samantha De Tillio for an online discussion of Reynolds’ work, following a screening of her short film Flux. Flux records a summer spent gathering materials for glass making on England's west coast region of Cornwall and the glass that results. Historically, seaweed from Cornish beaches was sold to the glass industry for flux, a crucial element in glass making. The film is a portrait of Cornwall and an education in glass making from a local environment.

Ticket purchasers will receive an email confirmation. Please follow the link under “Important Information” to complete your registration with Zoom. Once you have registered with Zoom you will be sent a link to view our event.
