Sign on for a live artist-led tutorial on experimenting with craft and design processes. During this fun and informal workshop, MAD About Jewelry and Artist Studios alum Mia Hebib of Oblik Atelier will introduce basic jewelry tools and simple techniques to guide participants through playful jewelry-making. The workshop will be an exercise for the hands and mind, in which participants will transform drawings and doodles into wearable jewelry.
MAD’s Digital Drop-ins are for participants of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Following the demonstration, participants will have time to independently work on their project and share with “neighbors” in the virtual class.
All Digital Drop-ins are 45 minutes. Registrants will receive an email 24 hours in advance of the program with instructions for accessing the workshop on Zoom.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mia Hebib is the creator behind Oblik Atelier. Oblik means “shape” in Croatian, and forming shapes has been the underlying theme in every piece she has created over the last decade or so. Born in Bosnia and raised in Croatia, Hebib studied at the School for Applied Arts and Design, Zagreb, and received a BFA in Metals and Jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Hebib has also been instrumental in relaunching the Robert Lee Morris collection, as well as launching the AllSaints and Coach wholesale lines and other fashion brands. She has mentored at Pratt Institute, 92nd Street Y, and SCAD.
