Join MAD Artist Fellow Tamara Santibañez for a free button-design workshop inspired by the exhibition Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die: Punk Graphics, 1976—1986. An ever-present statement during the punk era and beyond, buttons were (and continue to be) a way to communicate one’s allegiance to a style of music, a band, or a social cause. During this workshop, participants will create their own designs by drawing or collaging to make buttons to wear or take home.
Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
