Art Alive in Tabernacles for Trying Times

Sat, Sep 11, 2021

Join us for Art Alive, a drop-in gallery visit and art-making experience for all ages. This Saturday, artist-educator Duneska Michel will be on the floor of the exhibition Carrie Moyer and Sheila Pepe: Tabernacles for Trying Times leading focused discussions of Carrie Moyer's painting, Curtains. Visitors willl also be invited to explore collage using sustainable and recycled materials to create "freedom portals" that lead to their imagined safe spaces.

Art Alive is free with museum admission. Discussions and activities are ongoing, so visitors can join at any time between 12 and 2 pm and stay as long as they like. This program is offered in accordance with the Museum’s safe social-distancing practices.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
