Make a holiday visit to MAD! We will be open 7 days a week Dec 1 through Jan 4.

Art Alive in 45 Stories in Jewelry

Sat, Aug 28 / 12–2 pm

Join us for Art Alive, a drop-in gallery visit and art-making experience that takes place every Saturday.

Artist educators on the floor facilitate lively discussions of works in the exhibition and lead gallery-friendly, art-making activities using recycled and sustainable materials. Discussions and activities are ongoing, so visitors can join any time between 12 and 2 pm and stay as long as they like. The program is offered in accordance with the Museum’s safe social-distancing practices.

This Saturday, find us on Floor 2 where 2020 Artist Studios resident Kazue Taguchi will be on the floor of 45 Stories in Jewelry: 1947 to Now facilitating discussions and leading art-making inspired by British designers Wendy Ramshaw and David Watkins' "Something Special" paper jewelry series created in the 1960s.
