Nevin Arig is a Turkish designer based in Belgium. Arig is drawn to the many small moments of beauty in everyday life, which often go unrecognized or unremembered, and she celebrates these moments through her jewelry. She seeks to capture the twinkling fragments of stones, to rejoice in the subtleties found in colors, and to create before reason consumes inspiration and illusions. The simple, pure forms of the finished pieces provide a kind of close-up of ordinary moments, a respite from the vagueness and austerity of day-to-day life.
