Danish jewelry artist Lene Hald creates her fascinating jewelry at her workshop in Copenhagen. Common to her jewelry is a playful, colorful universe, with a happy and subtle humor in the way of design. Her creations often have an element of surprise, such as opportunities for multiple uses, multiple functions, or atypical material choices. Though she mainly works in precious metals, she often combines them with textiles, thereby achieving the fine colors and the more delicate and whimsical expressions that characterize her collections. For her “Tivoli” collection, Hald was inspired by the Danish crown jewels, as well as by the atmosphere of the mermaid’s world and the bright summer nights at Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks.
