Anna Dubessy is a Paris-based jewelry artist of French and Spanish descent. Her “Close-Up” series comprises a collection of ancestral knots rethought as art objects, with a contemporary and feminine approach. Fluid and soft, these pieces are intended to be extensions of the body. Though each of her creations is unique, all are made of cast brass, plated in either 18-karat yellow gold or ruthenium. Above all, Dubessy wants her designs to evoke their connection to space and to the wearer. Her goal is to make “sculptures to wear” that feel alive when worn.
