JungKi “Jackie” Min
JungKi “Jackie” Min (USA) examines the relationship between reality and imagination, positioning jewelry as a personal object capable of offering psychological refuge and moments of quiet reflection for the wearer. Her work explores themes of escapism, liminal space, and imagined environments, often drawing inspiration from natural landscapes and dreamlike imagery.
She creates wearable “portals” that invite viewers to momentarily step beyond everyday reality. Her pieces combine layered acrylic imagery including AI-generated and digitally altered images with traditional metalworking techniques to construct depth and immersive visual spaces within intimate wearable forms.
Min is a contemporary jewelry artist based in New York. She received a BFA in Jewelry from Pratt Institute and an MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design.
