Belle Brooke Barer
Belle Brooke Barer studied studio art at Pitzer College in Claremont, California, focusing mainly on traditional analog photography. In the course of her studies, she also realized a longtime ambition to learn traditional goldsmithing. Presently, Barer lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she uses precious metals and diamonds to make jewelry that grounds the wearer in the power of the circle—a universal symbol of flow, life force, cycles, and interconnection. Each piece is intended to be worn as a modern talisman, to remind us of what we are, and that we are always connected to the earth, the universe, and each other.
