Join other students after school to learn more about the design philosophy of Agentinean firm vacaValiente, see the MAD's newest exhibition on Latin American design, art and craft, and create your own vacaValiente product!

Meet vacaValiente director Matias Fernandez Moores, learn about this unique and joyous firm, and how it began, and how it grew. vacaValiente uses simple shapes and clean lines to make functional and joyful supplies for school and work. Participants will tour the exhibition New Territories: Design, Art and Craft in Latin America and meet the designer, become familiar with recycled leather and its properies before creating their own authentic vacaValiente product to take home.
