MAD invites all K-12 educators to attend a Teachers' Open House, planned by the Teacher Advisory Committee, on Friday, April 8, 2016, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. This event will highlight ways teachers can give lessons about and celebrate Earth Day with students by showcasing how everyday materials can be incorporated into art projects. Teachers will have the chance to view exhibitions currently on view, including Studio Job: MAD HOUSE and In Time (The Rhythm of the Workshop). MAD will also offer hands-on art-making workshops with Artist Studios residents Maika'i Tubbs and Nadia Martinez.
