Sally Cruikshank is an animator and cartoonist who creates radically stylized works of her own design. Her films depict the adventures of anthropomorphized ducks and other creatures (Quasi, Anita, Snozzy) as they move through surreal and psychedelic landscapes. In addition to her own films, Cruikshank created many short pieces of animation for “Sesame Street” and feature films such as “Twilight Zone: The Movie” and “Mannequin.”

Cruikshank is a recipient of the Maya Deren Award from the American Film Institute and her film "Quasi at the Quackedero" has been inducted in to the United States National Film Registry.
