Miriam Simun’s Agalinis Dreams

Wed, Oct 8 / 7 pm

A multisensory experience created by artist Miriam Simun, Agalinis Dreams commemorates the Agalinis Acuta, the only federally protected endangered plant species in New York State. Donning a wearable device that produces flavor illusions while drinking the ceremonial libation, audience members use multiple senses to explore ideas of progress and change through this single, beautiful and elusive species whose flowers bloom only one day a year.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
