Transform colored wool into a three-dimensional felted sculpture during this free introductory workshop with MAD Artist-in-Residence Natalia Arbelaez. Arbelaez will share her sources of inspiration for her sculpture practice—ranging from historical pre-Columbian forms to contemporary cartoons and pop culture—and guide visitors in applying dry felting techniques to create their own small sculptures using a needle and wool. Arbelaez will facilitate the workshop in both Spanish and English, and no prior experience is needed.
