Family Studio: Needlepoint & Cross Stitch

Sun, Feb 18 / 10:30 am–12 pm

Discover the rich tapestry of needlepointing and cross stitching, from traditional motifs to contemporary designs. We’ll provide the essentials—fabric, hoop, needle, and a spectrum of colorful threads—along with expert guidance from Artist Studios alum Syd Abady to help create shared memories. Join us for an engaging experience that connects craft, culture, and community and add a personal touch to your home with your own, handmade artistry.

Family Studio is a collaborative workshop for children ages five and up and their caregivers to learn, explore, and create together. Admission for children is free and children must be attended by a caregiver. Tickets for ages 13 and up are required and include admission to the Museum.

Space is limited and advanced registration is required.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
