A practiced architect, Im took a detour into the world of fashion, eventually finding himself in the studios of Karl Lagerfeld and Helmut Lang before going out on his own in 2009. Refocusing his eye towards dressing the human figure rather than housing it, he has developed a studied if not cerebral approach to menswear that mixes an aggressively contemporary aesthetic with notions of traditional men’s clothing.
