In Conversation: Nicole Cherubini and Glenn Adamson

Mon, Oct 21, 2013

Join MAD's new Director, Glenn Adamson and artist Nicole Cherubini for a dialogue on materials and process and Cherubini's artistic inspiration. Cherubini's work is rich with texturally lavish forms juxtaposed with geometric shapes. Her inspiration comes from the four classical elements of Greek philosophy and Minimalism to name a few. These ideas are manifested through her diverse use of materials, including terra-cotta, porcelain, earthenware, MDF, pine. and wood, along with vibrant glazes, acrylic, and spray paint. Tracy Williams, Ltd. presents Cherubini's first solo exhibition with the gallery, in and out of weeks, on view through October 26.
