Conceptualizing Otherworldly: Optical Delusions and Small Realities
7:30pm

In our contemporary landscape of multiple approaches to curation, from academic to cultural production, a wide variety of methodologies and origins have emerged. In the case of Otherworldy: Optical Delusions and Small Realities, the challenge lay in how to present both miniture constructed realities as well as the labor intensive and complexly detailed studio practice behind them.

Delving into the reasons behind staging such an exhibition, methodologies used, and outlined goals curator David McFadden joins a group of featured artists and exhibition designer to shed light into the process of creating the Otherworldly: Optical Delusions and Small Realities.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
