Join jeweler Carole Horn for this afternoon-long, hands-on workshop on embroidering necklaces using glass beads. Taking inspiration from the works on view in the exhibit Maryland to Murano:Neckpieces and Sculptures by Joyce J. Scott, students will create glass beaded embroidery arounda gemstone or geode slice. The resulting work will channel the colorful personality of each student in a one-of-a-kind wearable wonder.
