Created by MAD’s Teen Council members, Artslab workshops connect New York City teens ages 13 to 18 with MAD’s Artist Studios residents past and present for a hands-on artmaking experience.
Screen printing has long been a tool for artists, activists, and designers who want to put images into the world. It’s fast, repeatable, and bold. In this workshop with 2023 Artist in Residence Jacquelyn Strycker and the Teen Council, teens will explore screen-printing techniques using hand-cut stencils and a process that requires no darkroom or special equipment to create a graphic print.
Space is limited, and registration is required in advance. Have questions? Email us at education@madmuseum.org
