Art Alive in the Galleries

Sun, Sep 26 / 11 am–1 pm

Join us for Art Alive, an intergenerational drop-in gallery visit and art-making experience inspired by MAD's current exhibitions.

Taking cues from Something Special (1968), a paper jewelry series by Wendy Ramshaw and David Watkins, 2020 Artist Studios resident Kazue Taguchi will lead a jewelry-making activity in the exhibition 45 Stories in Jewelry: 1947 to Now.

Art Alive is free with Museum admission. Discussions and activities are ongoing, so visitors can join at any time between 11 am and 1 pm and stay as long as they like. The program is offered in accordance with the Museum’s safe social-distancing practices.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
