Join creative lead and strategist Morgan Searcy for a discussion inspired by her recent book, One Year in Politics. Searcy will discuss her practice, creative roles on political campaigns and with nonprofits, and the importance of self-publishing to uplift diverse perspectives.
Co-presented with the Museum of Arts and Design, this program is part of AIGA NY’s Fresh Dialogue event series focusing on current events, issues of cultural relevance, and emerging topics in the design world.
About the designer
Morgan Searcy is the author of the newly released book One Year in Politics, which focuses on retaining the knowledge to win elections through design, data, and activism. She works as an independent creative lead and strategist and has a background in design and politics. Morgan has worked for Senators Elizabeth Warren and Jon Ossoff, Stacey Abrams, Rock the Vote, The People’s Graphic Design—and dabbled in advertising with W+K’s Nike team.
