The Store at MAD, the retail arm of the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), presents RE:FINE Spring 2026, an in-store shopping event that showcases 18 visionary international artists redefining contemporary fine jewelry. Launching this week, RE:FINE invites members of the press and public to a festive cocktail reception with artists and collectors on Thursday, May 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. EDT. Attendees will enjoy 20 percent savings on purchases storewide.
“RE:FINE is a discovery of innovation and artistry in fine jewelry,” said Sathya Balakumar, Deputy Director of Retail Operations for The Store at MAD. “Our artists reimagine the idea of the modern heirloom, each piece telling a story of craftsmanship and creativity. This season, we’re thrilled to introduce new international voices alongside returning favorites, inviting our community to discover jewelry that is inspired by the richness of our many cultures.”
Featured artists making their RE:FINE debut includes Allison Alane, Shinkai and Sunlit Fine Jewelry. Allison Teague, the artist behind Allison Alane, is inspired by the vivid colors and dramatic landscape of the Colorado Rockies, where she was raised. Mizuki Shinkai, seasoned metalsmith and the designer behind Shinkai, creates beautiful artifacts as a legacy for his children. Susan Hamilton Meier of Sunlit Fine Jewelry, works with the ancient lost wax method of casting, transforming each sculpture into an object of adornment, handcrafted with expert care.
Returning standout artists include Bleecker & Prince, Christine Fail, Elizabeth Garvin, Hannah Allene, Joan Hornig, Lika Behar, Mara Labell, Margoni, Mateo New York, Maura Green, Page Sargisson, Petra Class, Preeti Sandhu, Ritique, Sethi Couture, and Wwake.
