Dorine Decayeux
A graduate of the École Duperré School of Applied Arts, Dorine Decayeux launched her own brand “Vlum” in 2011, in the wake of her final year project. Her work exhibits the subtlety of the woven nylon tube. Inspired by experimentation and the versatility of raw materials, she delves in unexpected mediums to realize her delicate graphic pieces in subtle hues.
Her fascination with new technology and her passion for experimentation in materials gives her an atypical vision of jewelry. Decayeux considers it a bridge between fashion, design and visual art. More sculptor than designer, she conceives each piece with careful attention to volume, fall, balance, and chromatic harmony. She currently lives in Paris.
