Yuki Iriyama Gray creates furniture and functional sculptures that investigate the materiality and authenticity of objects, and often reference nature, human emotion, and the relationship between people and material. At MAD, Gray will continue this exploration of an object’s inner materiality and humanity’s inherent familiarity to natural materials.
Gray received a BFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
