Zoe Sherwood
Londoner Zoe Sherwood empowers wearers through her designs, which she calls wearable reminders. Her practice is rooted in the necessity to embrace who we are and what we stand for, and she uses words to tell stories and create visual patterns. “Me”—the self—is the starting point for her work and a word that is featured throughout. Sherwood uses the latest 3D printing technology, ancient lost-wax casting, and sculpting to make her jewelry. In 2021, she launched her “Save” “Earth” collection, for which she uses end-of-life fishing nets from the coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom, recycled locally into the first 100% circular 3D-printable filament.
