Sophie Terrière discovered the world of leather during a visit to a historic tannery in the South of France. Now based between Antwerp, Belgium, and the Champagne region of France,she creates leather jewelry, combining a timeless material with graphic designs. In each of her creations, she expresses her taste for pure lines and imposing volumes. Her collections revisit the shape of classic jewelry in a sophisticated and contemporary style. Recently, she has been experimenting with digital printing on leather, mixing materials and colors for unexpected effects. She designs and makes her jewelry entirely by hand, in limited editions or unique pieces, in a style she characterizes as “raw-refined.”
