Owen Ellerkamp (USA) is a self-taught jewelry designer and fabricator based in Brooklyn. He founded his brand, Dunton Ellerkamp, in 2022 as a natural extension of both his lifelong fascination with small objects and a creative upbringing. After discovering wax carving in 2022, Ellerkamp began crafting abstract, wearable sculptures from hand-carved wax forms. His work draws deeply from the quiet, understated beauty of New England’s natural world, incorporating organic materials—shells, bones, floral fragments—and ephemeral inspirations such as shadows and moments of stillness. Each piece is cast in traditional materials of silver or gold, often accented with precious or semi-precious stones. His work has a very strong unisex aesthetic and is quite intended for daily wear.
Ellerkamp holds a degree in Religion from Oberlin College (2018), a background that continues to inform the contemplative nature of his practice.
