Isabelle Mariana
Isabelle Mariana (France) trained in the applied arts at the École Estienne in Paris, where she cultivated her keen eye for detail and composition. Her career in graphic design led her to work with prestigious French publishing houses before relocating to Germany.
In 2018, she launched her own brand dedicated to a singular yet expressive form of jewelry: the brooch. Drawing from diverse techniques such as pearl embroidery, fabric embossing, and knitted textiles, her creations reflect a deep artistic intimacy. Mariana’s inspirations span music, choreography, literature, folk traditions, and the natural world, all of which manifest in the recurring motifs, colors, and themes of her ISEE brooches. She describes her work as “a place between my own heart and that of the other, clinging to the thin thickness of their garment.”
In December 2024, she received an honorable mention from Galerie Legnica at the contemporary jewelry fair in London.
