Born in Ankara, Turkey, and based in Istanbul, Ela Cindoruk is a contemporary fine jewelry designer. Her work explores the contradictions between concepts such as idea/meaning, form/color/material, and value. She seeks to create harmony between these concepts through the process of experimenting, searching, researching, and playing, evaluating the richness of various and unusual materials to reach simple solutions. In doing so, she stretches the limits of what jewelry can be.
