Ann Cox
When Ann Cox first melted glass, she fell instantly in love with the texture, the transparency, and the endless possibilities of the material. She went on to travel throughout Europe, the United States, and Mexico to learn from masters in contemporary jewelry, flameworking, and color theory. Based in Antwerp, Belgium, Cox prioritizes sustainability and often works with recycled glass, including tubes from light bulbs and the leftovers from a glass studio, a process that keeps her alert to creativity. Color is a central element in her jewelry, for which she finds inspiration in the day-to-day.
