Gleaning inspriation from the whimsical neckpieces in Hanging Around: Necklaces from MAD's Collection, which are made from gun triggers, butterfly wings, photographs, and peacock feathers, we will use similarly whimsical materials to create our own memorable jewelry in the studio.
On the first Sunday of the month, join a professional artist to explore the galleries followed by a hands on workshop inspired by the objects in the exhibition. This program is suitable for ages 6 and up. At MAD, our goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn through their hands while having a good time together in our galleries and studio.
