Ralph Pucci is widely regarded for his innovative approach to the familiar form of the mannequin. Pucci thinks of his mannequins as living things with personalities he created an idea of physical beauty that was more specific, empowered and diverse than the fashion industry has previously allowed. Inspired by Pucci, families will explore movement and gesture of the human body by creating dynamic wire sculptures.

Studio Sundays, held once monthly offers countless opportunities to learn and explore. These intergenerational workshops are included with museum admission for families to work with artist-educators who provide insight into creative processes, inspired by MAD’s exhibitions. Each Studio Sunday workshop is unique, and open to anyone age 6 and up.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
