Program Description

Join artist educators Cheri Ehrlich and Cathy Rosamond for an afternoon in NYC Makers: The MAD Biennial, then celebrate the city with hands-on activities. In New York, everyone has a maker on their block, or in their back yard. Who can you think of that might have a special skill or talent?  Perhaps someone who makes candy or musical instruments? Maybe an architect or a tailor? In this workshop families will have a chance to try some creative activities that help create the culture of New York City.

At MAD, our goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn through their hands. We work to deliver a sensory-rich intergenerational experience for families to enjoy the museum together. This program is suitable for children ages 6 and up.
