Directed, produced, and voiced by Walt Disney, Steamboat Willie was the third cartoon to feature mascot Mickey Mouse, after Plane Crazy and The Gallopin’ Gaucho.  It is noted in the history books as the first animated short feature film with a completely post-produced soundtrack of music, dialogue, and sound effects.  Based on a story by Disney and two-time Academy Award-winning animator Ub Iwerks.
