Professional Development for Teachers

Mon, Jan 30, 2012

MAD invites you to a Professional Development for Teachers seminar with artist Fergus Walsh and a gallery discussion of our special exhibition, Korean Eye: Energy and Matter.

Korean Eye: Energy and Matter shines a spotlight on new work by contemporary Korean artists. This exhibition reflects a new era of diversity in Korean life, politics, and culture, and offers a unique opportunity for education and appreciation of Korea's contemporary art scene. Korean Eye extends MAD's focus on materials and process in contemporary art and design by showcasing works of art in an astonishing range of materials, reflecting the ways in which Korean artists today are exploring techniques both traditional and innovative.

MAD’s Professional Development program provides teachers with opportunities to network with other educators while supplementing their existing knowledge of contemporary art, craft and design.

Reservations are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited.
