In recent years, the phrase wabi-sabi has become popularized in the Western world, especially in the world of design. Join MAD educators in a dialogue focused around understanding the aesthetic philosophy and the multiple meanings behind this elusive phrase. Visitors will also have the opportunity to capture their personal understanding of what wabi-sabi might mean to them through writing an original haiku.
