Artist-in-residence Tai Hwa Goh uses paper and printmaking to create incredible installations influenced by the natural world. Join Goh for this drop-in workshop, where visitors will assist the artist in creating an installation inspired by the architecture at MAD. Visitors will examine the relationship between line, shape, and form using accordion paper as the main material for exploration. At the end of the workshop, visitors will install their creations on the Museum's sixth floor.
MADmakes is a drop-in, hands-on series where visitors can test their skills at art making and creative production. Led by current artists-in-residence, MADmakes offers visitors the opportunity to better understand and appreciate the workmanship that goes into contemporary studio practice today.
