Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned in this costume drama by French director Breillat (“Fat Girl,” “Sex is Comedy”). Asia Argento gives a tour-de-force performance as La Vellini, “The Old Mistress” of young libertine Ryno de Marigny (Aattou). When Ryno decides to settle into marriage, he visits La Vellini to break off their relationship. However La Vellini is not so eager to give him up, and her volatile reaction causes unexpected consequences for all those involved.
