La Cravate 1957, Dir. Alejandro Jodorowsky With Denise Brossot, Rolande Polya and Alejandro Jodorowsky; Digital Projection Long considered lost, La Cravate (also known as the Les Têtes Interverties) is Jodorowsky’s first work, a silent short from 1957. Adapted from the Thomas Mann novella (The Transposed Heads), the film tells the story of a young woman who makes her living selling human heads in the streets of Paris. Jodorowsky acts alongside his future wife Denise Brossot, with an appearance by surrealist Raymond Devos.
